Comments: HM Schooner Tender Dolphin, tender to HM Frigate Æolus (Captain Christopher Atkins)arrived at Kingston, Jamaica on 11 October 1777 with two prizes, a sloop and a schooner. These were probably the sloop Independence [Independance], with a cargo of flour, and the schooner Ferrett, out of and owned in North Carolina, with a cargo of tobacco and staves. Both were tried and condemned.
