Comments: The 45-ton schooner Seaflower (Edward Matthews) was owned in Cape Cod, Massachusetts by Call & Pittes. She was en route from Cape Cod to St. Pierre, Martinique, French West Indies with a cargo of lumber. On 12 May 1777, off Cape Cod, she was captured by HM Sloop Albany (Commander Henry Mowat), with her four man crew. The prize was sent into Halifax, Nova Scotia.
