Comments: Schooner Savage (B. Jackson) was at sea off George’s Bank on 2 May 1777, with a cargo of fish aboard. She was sailing out of Marblehead, Massachusetts and was presumably fishing on the banks. HM Frigates Diamond and Greyhound fell in with and captured the Savage. She was sent into Halifax, Nova Scotia.
