Comments: The sloop Henry (James Moody) was bound from Hispaniola (perhaps Saint-Domingue, French West Indies) with a cargo of dry goods. Off Cape Hatteras, North Carolina, she fell in with the British Privateer Brig Loyal Subject (Andrew Syme), which had sailed from New York, New York on 6 March 1778. She was captured by the Loyal Subject, along with other prizes, and was escorted to New York, arriving on 16 March.
