Comments: The ship Stanislaus (Jean Equillon) sailed from Brest, France bound for Boston, Massachusetts with a cargo of wine, brandy, flour and clothing. On 9 June 1781, in Boston Bay, Massachusetts, she was captured by HM Frigate Charlestown. Stanislaus was apparently a French vessel. She was sent into Halifax, Nova Scotia, where she was tried and condemned.
