Comments: The brigantine Albion (John Birket) sailed from Jamaica, British West Indies bound to England with a cargo of rum, sugar and pimento about mid 1781. En route she was captured by an American vessel. On 18 June 1781 Albion was off the coast of Nova Scotia, where she was re-captured by HM Frigate Charlestown. Charlestown escorted the Albion into Halifax, Nova Scotia, where she was libeled on 20 June.
