Comments: The brig Tammey (Zebulon Rust; owned by J. Smith) was bound from Boston, Massachusetts to Surinam, Netherlands West Indies with a cargo of fish and lumber. On 5 June 1777 she was on George’s Bank, where she was captured by HM Frigate Syren. Tammey was sent in to Halifax, Nova Scotia.
