Comments: This unknown sloop was one of three coasting wood sloops taken off Boothbay, Maine by an unknown British cruiser on 8 June 1777. The British records indicate the three were driven ashore in the Sheepscot River, Massachusetts [Maine] by HM Frigate Milford (Captain William Burnaby) on 22 June 1777. The 8 June date seems to be correct. All three bilged and were presumably lost.
