Comments: Brig William and Grace (William Kissick) sailed from Charleston bound to Amsterdam with a cargo of rice. She was captured about 28 July 1777 by the Neptune, a tender to HMS Prince George, off the Lizard, and taken into Portsmouth, England on the 28th. William and Grace was tried in the High Court of Admiralty and condemned in 1777. She is described as an American merchant vessel.
