Comments: Ship Grace (John Wardley) was captured by Continental Navy Brig Reprisal (Captain Lambert Wickes) in the Irish Sea in June 1777. She was sent off to France but was recaptured by HM Tender Neptune, tender to HMS Prince George (Captain Charles Middleton). She was tried and condemned as a recapture in the High Court of Admiralty in 1777.
