Comments: Schooner Sally was bound from Providence, Rhode Island to Charleston, South Carolina. On 25 January 1778 she was captured by the British Privateer Ship Andrew (John Geyer), operating out of New York. Sally soon parted from the Andrew in a gale and bore away for England, arriving at Cowes, England about 3 March 1778.
