Comments: Sloop Sea Nymph was bound from Cap Français, Saint-Domingue for North Carolina with a cargo of gunpowder, wine, and salt. On 12 January 1777 she was south of the Caicos Bank when she was sighted and stopped by HM Sloop Badger (Lieutenant Charles Holmes Everitt). She was sent into Jamaica and tried and condemned there.
