Comments: Brig Molly was laying in Turks Island harbor on 20 January 1777, taking on a cargo of salt. She was bound for New York. At 1300 HM Sloop Badger (Lieutenant Charles Holmes Everitt) entered the harbor. An officer and two men boarded the brig and she was sent off to Jamaica, British West Indies as a prize. Molly was tried and condemned at Jamaica.
