Comments: Sloop Stordy [Sturdy], with her cargo of rice and indigo, was captured by one Chambers, who then surrendered the prize to HM Frigate Antelope (Captain William Judd) about December 1776, in the West Indies. Although the date of the capture is estimated, it is probable. Stordy was sent into Jamaica, British West Indies, where she was tried and condemned.
