Comments: Schooner Betsey, with her cargo of fish and lumber, was captured by HM Frigate Antelope (Captain William Judd) about December 1776, in the West Indies. Although the date of the capture is estimated, it is probable. Betsey was sent into Jamaica, British West Indies, where she was tried and condemned.
