Comments: Sloop William and Mary was an American prize, originally bound from Sanlúcar, Spain to Perth, Scotland with a cargo of salt and wine. She was sent off to Boston, Massachusetts. On 28 April 1777, William and Mary was recaptured in Boston Bay by HM Frigate Daphne (Captain St. John Chinnery). She was sent in to Halifax, Nova Scotia.
