Comments: Sloop St. Jacques was captured by the British Privateer Schooner Tartar, operating out of Dominica, British West Indies. The British vessel was apparently of the un-commissioned variety. She was sent into Dominica where she was condemned on 20 May 1777. The captors received a salvage value.
