Comments: The 40-ton schooner Dolphin (Andrew McKenzie) was bound from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she was owned, to St. Eustatius, Netherlands West Indies with a cargo of flour and tar. On 16 April 1777 she was captured by HMS Portland (Captain Thomas Dumaresq). The British removed her six man crew and sent her into Antigua, British West Indies. Dolphin was condemned at Antigua on 12 May 1777.
