Comments: The 60-ton schooner Dragon (Abraham Knowlton) was out bound from Liverpool, Nova Scotia on a fishing voyage. She had a cargo of fish aboard. She was captured by the Massachusetts Privateer Schooner General Gates (Commander William Carlton), possibly in October 1776. She was sent into Massachusetts and was libeled in the Maritime Court of the Middle District on 24 October 1776, and tried on 19 November 1776.
