Comments: The 30-ton schooner Polly (John Carleton) was libeled in the Massachusetts Maritime Court of the Eastern District on 7 December 1780 by one Joseph McLellan. Her trial was set for 21 December 1780. McLellan can not be associated with a particular privateer.
