Comments: Massachusetts Privateer Schooner Dolphin (Commander John Leech) was at sea in November 1776. She seems to be the Dolphin that captured the 90-ton brigantine Betsey and sent her into a port in Maine. She was libeled in the Massachusetts Maritime Court of the Eastern District on 19 December 1776, and tried on 16 January 1777.
