Comments: Connecticut Privateer Schooner Arnold (Commander Moses Butler) was at sea in June 1779, sailing with Connecticut Privateer Schooner Independence (Commander Gurdon Burnham). On 4 June 1779 the pair captured the 50-ton sloop Sally (Eliakim Jones), with a cargo of lumber, wool, and coffee. She was sent into Hartford, Connecticut, libeled and condemned.
