Comments: Connecticut Privateer Galley Adventure (Commander Samuel Smith, Jr.), in July 1781, captured the British schooner Sword Fish in Long Island Sound, assisted by the Connecticut Privateer Boat Revenge (Commander Amos Judson). She was a recapture.Sword Fish was taken into Hartford, Connecticut, and tried and condemned on 30 August 1781.
