Comments: Ship Polly (Thomas Collart) was en route from Jamaica, British West Indies to the Mississippi River, West Florida when she was captured by the North Carolina Privateer Brigantine Resolution (Commander Joseph Meredith), which was on a trading voyage. The prize was escorted into Wilmington, North Carolina by the Resolution, arriving on 21 August 1777. Her cargo was described as valuable.
