Comments: The 25-ton sloop Peggy (Charles Thomas) was one of two small wood sloops captured by Continental Army Sloop General Schuyler (Captain David Hawley) on 30 July 1777. The other prize was the sloop Ann (Ezekial Bishop). Both were libeled on 10 August 1777 in Fairfield County Court, with trial set for 2 September 1777.
