Comments: Ship Nathaniel and Elizabeth (William Hoare) was captured by the Continental Navy Brig Andrew Doria (Captain Nicholas Biddle) on 11 July 1776. She was sent into New London, Connecticut and tried and condemned there on 22 August 1776.


Second Lieutenant Elisha Warner received £6.11.0 for his share of the prize money on 27 March 1778 from Continental Agent Nathaniel Shaw, Jr.
