Comments: This vessel was loading at a town called Edgecumbs, Massachusetts [Maine] near Boothbay, with permission of the local committee, when the Committee of Boothbay heard of her. A party under Major Andrew Reed then set out and seized her about 18 July 1775, and took her to Boothbay. The vessel was unloaded and her master forced to give bond to proceed home before she was released.
