Comments: The 60-ton sloop Molly (Robert Young) was libeled in the Massachusetts Maritime Court on 9 January 1777 by one Obadiah Ayers. Ayers no doubt represents the head of a party that captured this sloop off the coast of Massachusetts, but no details are known, and this is only speculation. She was tried on 28 January 1777.
