Comments: Sloop Dorothy (Goodrick), owned by Goodrick, from St. Eustatius for Nansemond, in ballast.  In Hampton on 30 December 1775. [NDAR, “Ships in Norfolk and Hampton Roads,” III, 309] She was captured going to Norfolk by the Liberty and taken in to Hampton. The Virginia Convention ordered her released on 16 January 1776.
