Comments: Captured with a schooner (Brown) by a tender of Dunmore’s Fleet on 13 December 1775. A midshipman, black pilot, and two sailors placed on the two vessels, which were ordered to Norfolk, Virginia. By bribery the Americans convinced the prize crew to join in retaking the two vessels.
