Comments: The 130-ton snow York (Webb) was en route from Halifax, Nova Scotia to Surinam with a cargo of fish. She was captured by the True American, and, presumably sent into Boston, Massachusetts. Her trial was held on 19 May 1779. There are four Massachusetts privateers named True American active at this period.
