She captured the 130-ton brigantine Chance (Alexander Willy), bound from Scotland to New York, New York with a cargo of rum, flour, beef, and dry goods. She was sent into Massachusetts, where she was libeled on 7 June 1779, with her trial set for 6 July 1779.
