Massachusetts Privateer Schooner William was at sea in early May 1781, under Commander Solomon Coit1 of Saco, Massachusetts [Maine].2
On 3 May 17813 William captured the 40-ton schooner Halifax Bob (Peter Henderkin),4 and brought her into Pepperelborough, Massachusetts [Maine].5 Halifax Bob was libeled on 28 May and tried on 29 June 1781.6
