New Hampshire Privateer Brigantine Porgie [Porgee, Paugey] was commissioned on 14 October 1779 under Commander Sylvanus Lowell of Newburyport, Massachusetts. She was listed as being armed with four guns and as having a crew of ten men. Porgie was re-commissioned, under Lowell, on 17 July 1780.1
