Comments:
Connecticut Privateer Boat Betsey was at sea on 23 June 1780, under Commander Abraham Wright of Farmington, Connecticut, when she captured a British vessel, in company with Connecticut Privateer Sloop Snake (Commander Ackley Riley). The prize was bound from New York, New York to the eastern part of Long Island, and had a cargo of “British goods.” She was sent in and condemned.1
